The best way to explore the arts is through play! Students will have fun getting to know composers and artists through song, dance, art, violin and recorder playing. They will learn about music theory through rhythm games – watch out, here come the boomwhackers. Students may choose two electives to enhance their studies: dance, beginning / intermediate group violin lesson, recorder group lesson, or art. Of course we will sing, and sing, and sing ... rounds, hymns, spirituals, folk songs ... there will be something for everyone! Students will participate in a concert with older "campers" on Friday, July 19.
- Lunch for the week may be added for an additional $20, extending each day to 1:00 p.m.
