Each year The Madeleine Choir School hosts a fundraising event to help raise money for the school. This year’s event is a Homecoming theme on May 4, 2013. We have several "drop-in" tours scheduled! They each take place from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. with no appointment necessary. Please drop in and take a tour or let us answer your questions.

The Madeleine Choir School has received a $64,500 donation for the expansion of classroom technology.
"We are grateful for this donation, both for recognizing that our school provides unique educational and artistic opportunities deserving of its support, and for sharing our progressive vision of how our mission can be advanced by expanding and upgrading our classroom technology," said Principal Jill Baillie.
The generous gift will fund mobile iPad labs for students, iPads for teachers, and a new secure wireless system for the entire campus. The technology upgrades will advance the school's ongoing effort to infuse technology into an integrated curriculum, as it moves away from a model of teaching technology in the computer lab to a model of proactive engagement with technology in every subject within the classroom setting.
As Baillie explains, "the new model creates a more collaborative learning environment and proactively prepares students for their high school years. Using technology to the fullest capacity gives our students a greater ability to learn more efficiently through differentiated teaching instruction, providing our teachers an avenue to impact students on multiple learning levels within the same classroom."
