CHORISTER AND COLLEGIUM SNACK SCHEDULE AND PROCEEDURES
MCS 2012-2013
Please see the attached calendar for your scheduled day to provide snack for choristers and altar servers (collegiums). A master calendar will be posted on the web site at Madeleinechoirschool.org and there will be a copy at the front desk.
If you cannot provide snack on your assigned date - IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SWITCH DATES WITH ANOTHER PARENT!

There will be a snack reminder in the Friday Newsletter but it is ultimately your responsibility to remember your assigned snack dates. Please remember that the choristers and altar servers are hungry after school, if there is no snack provided it is a long afternoon.
Snack is served after school prior to the 5:15 and 6:00 p.m. masses, at most concerts and Easter Sunday. We ask that you provide a hearty snack and beverage for all the choristers and collegiums students
scheduled to serve mass. PLEASE REMEMBER NO NUTS! Some Suggestions for snacks are:
- Lunch Meats and Rolls
- Meatball/ Hot Dogs
- Baked Potato/ Soup/bread
- Bagel with cream cheese
- Taco Bar
- Bread and Cheese
- Sloppy Joes
- >> Drinks and Fruit for each snack
You are responsible for all paper goods and utensils and items used in preparing and serving your food. There will be a bin that extra paper goods may be left in for future chorister snacks. You may want to check availability of paper items prior to your day.
Snack should be ready to serve promptly at 3:30 p.m.
You may want to have drinks poured into cups ahead of time.
Please have the kitchen, all utensils, cafeteria tables and floors clean when you leave. The choristers should help you clean up prior to leaving.
The number of the choristers in each choir is listed below. Please bring enough for the mass servers and for the choir supervisor. The number of choristers is subject to change throughout the year. Please inquire ahead of time if you need to have an exact count.

+3 Mass Servers (collegiums) are scheduled every weekday mass +1 supervisor
*On concerts, a smaller specified snack is requested of cheese sticks, drink and fruit. You are responsible to set out the snack for a quick grab and clean up afterward. Please contact Melanie Malinka on the specific serving time of these events.
**There are a couple of after school masses that start at 6:00p.m. We ask that you provide a fuller snack (closer to a meal) since the students will be going for longer prior to getting home for dinner.
***It is tradition that a brunch is served on Easter Morning for the choristers that need to sing at two consecutive masses. Please coordinate the timing of this brunch with Melanie Malinka.
