Library Information

Library News:

The Birthday Book Club has swung into action again, so for those of you who don’t know what it is here is a brief explanation:  On your child’s birthday they can donate either a new book or a very gently used book to the library.  Turn the book in to your child’s teacher or to the librarian with a picture of your child (wallet sized is best, or close to it).  The picture can also be cut out from another picture that you have.  Their picture will be put up on the Birthday Book Club wall in Erbin Hall.  Summer birthday children can donate a book whenever they like.

This has been a great way to add books to the library, and the kids like seeing their picture up on the wall.  If you don’t know what book to donate you can look at the list below for titles that would be great to add.

The books below are organized by Newbery Medal Winners, Caldecott Medal Winners, fiction that kids ask for and finally by grade.

Thank you,

Susan Wolfe
